That person that hurt you? That experience that shattered your sense of self, made you question everything? The thing that happened that crushed you and forced you dig your way out of the rubble while they just walked away?
It was never about you at all.
It was about their inability to face their own demons. It was about them making choices that were selfish and easy in the moment. They knew the hurt it would cause and did it anyway. They hurt you, but they hurt themselves more.
You? You will dig your way out of that rubble. You will put yourself back together, brick by brick and you will rebuild that home into your castle. You will become your own rescuer. Your own hero.
You will feel joy again. You’ll feel true peace and will take the lessons you learned to make you better, stronger. Your connections will be mutual and genuine.
Them? They will stay stuck in patterns and cycles that will torture them for the rest of their lives, because chances are, they’ll never do the wok to grow. They’ll never have the depth or self awareness or courage to take accountability and learn from their choices. They aren’t brave enough to face the darkest parts of who they are, and if they can’t do that, they can’t ever really heal. They won’t be capable of having true, deep, authentic relationships because they don’t have a true, deep, authentic relationship with themselves.
You? You are going to become who you were meant to. You will level up and your life will align with who you are becoming. The right people and opportunities will find you because they will be able to rise up and meet you. You will shed all of the things that you have to outgrow to get there.
Them? Their karma might never be obvious. But it’s there. They won’t be able to escape it, because it is inside them.
What they did is a reflection of who they are. Your response to what they did, is a reflection of who you are.
